After Steve and Carly were divorced, Steve met another woman called Lola.

Lola and Steve set up together pretty quickly, he described her as a gold digger but still proceeded to buy 2 houses. One for them to live in and one to rent out but they were next door to each other.

Lola had 2 children (not Steve’s) and fell pregnant with a 3rd which resulted in abortion. Steve told me that he didn’t think the child was his. The relationship didn’t last very long, just less than a year before it turned sour. Steve went back to his parent again and put the house up for sale. By all accounts it was trashed when he went to sell it, filth up the walls, carpets ripped up, cupboards smashed in the kitchen.

There’s not really much else to say but when Steve had an offer on the house, the lady buying couldn’t sell hers. Steve viewed it and ended up buying it, just so he could leave the last relationship behind. This was just as we met.
