The business starts…..

I had been working in the same industry for years, always beneath the management level and never any drive to make something of myself. I don’t know what the exact turning point was nor how I even thought I would begin but with £20k in savings to invest in a start up, it all began.

I remember not having a choice in whether I took the plunge or not, I was thrown into unemployment after being sacked for ‘conflict of interest’ but it was now or never.

I had already applied for my professional registration and following an interview by the regulatory body, I was awarded the registrations both for myself and my business. Step 1 was complete.

My one good friend I had at the time was the only one to help me with this venture, with the help of her and my brother…. we began on our journey which has been full of highs and lows over the last 6 years.

Stay tuned for the best bits, the funny stuff and the tears.
